BoJ’s Morimoto on tackling deflation
Yoshihisa Morimoto, a member of the Bank of Japan's Policy Board, has said the central bank's second new loan disbursement, carried out on 7 December under the fund-provisioning measures, would help strengthen the foundations for economic growth in Japan.
At a meeting with business leaders on 9 December in Saitama, Japan, Morimoto said: "What is needed is to identify the root cause of the challenges Japan's economy faces and take the most appropriate action to address them, no matter how long
