Ireland's Honohan outlines central bank's failures
Patrick Honohan, the governor of the Central Bank and FInancial Services Authority of Ireland, on Tuesday discussed his report on the failures of the central bank in dealing with the financial crisis.
The report, which looked at the functions of the central bank and financial regulator, found evidence of a "comprehensive failure of bank management and direction to maintain safe and sound banking practices," Honohan said.
