South Africa to implement new reserves policy: Guma
Revised strategic asset allocation of foreign-exchange reserves will be implemented later this year, together with the appointment of new external fund managers and/or reappointment of some existing ones, said Xolile Guma, the governor of the South African Reserve Bank.
Guma said the strategic asset allocation was reviewed during 2008/09 and that the central bank also embarked on the external fund management review, which is conducted every three years.
He also said the importance of risk
