Nigeria to support electronic payments: Sanusi
Central Bank of Nigeria will vigorously pursue payment system reforms that focus on using electronic payments, said Lamido Sanusi, the governor of the country's central bank.
Sanusi said the electronic payment initiative included government supplier payments, person-to-person trade, salary and bill payments, business and individual taxes and securities settlement. He also said that the reformed national payment systems would serve as a platform for supporting the integration of the Nigerian
