Speech by Laurence Meyer of the Federal Reserve

SPEECH - Laurence Meyer said in a speech on Tuesday afternoon titled 'Financial Stability in Emerging Markets: What Have We Accomplished and What Remains To Be Done?' that an international bankruptcy scheme like that proposed recently by the IMF is not a good idea and reaffirmed his view that the Fed is not a central bank for the world.
