Speech by Malcolm Edey of the RBA, 22 Aug

SPEECH - In the speech 'The Global Economic Scene' Edey said it was wrong of anyone to suggest that the global economy was going backwards. Assistant Governor Edey also said that "given the supportive policy settings in place around the world, it would be reasonable to expect that such a recovery would gain momentum and become more broadly based over time."
