ECB's Trichet: prepare for rebalancing world
The world has to prepare for a very profound structural rebalancing of world output during the next years, said Jean-Claude Trichet, the president of the European Central Bank.
Trichet said that that the world economy was changing significantly and so should its governance. He said that the creation and the recent reinforcement of the G20 and the enlargement to the G20 of the Financial Stability Board were milestones in this respect.
