SPEECH - Bergo says in the speech we must be prepared for changes in the functioning of the economy over time and that one knows precisely how different shocks will affect the economy or what effects fiscal and monetary policy instruments will have. A stable operating environment in the form of a predictable monetary and fiscal policy contributes to reducing some of this uncertainty.
