Speech by Fed Bank of Chicago President M Moskow

SPEECH - Michael H. Moskow, President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago spoke at the Greater Milwaukee Committee monthly meeting, Milwaukee, Wisconsin on 9 July.

In the speech Michael Moskow said the economy will likely improve later this year but a number of uncertainties remain that put such an optimistic outlook on a tenuous footing. He added that the combination of interest rate cuts by the Fed, tax cuts and a decline in energy prices will help boost consumer demand, decrease
