SA Mboweni voices agflation fears

Agflation has serious implications for South Africa's poor and unemployed, Tito Mboweni, the governor of the country's Reserve Bank, stressed.

"Food accounts for more than 50% of the spending basket of the low[est] income groups, compared to some 17% of the spending of the highest-income group," the governor said.
