SPEECH - In the speech titled 'Life outside Euroland' Srejber said that the latest reports pointed to a transition period of between two and three years from a referendum until EMU entry. However, she said, "this preparation time can be shortened somewhat, assuming that the political process is open and establishes a clear timetable and that a transition process is chosen", 11 February.
