Czech National Bank paper discusses how inflation targets are set

Past levels of inflation, inflation volatility and economic growth are among the indicators that central banks and governments observe when setting the level of inflation targets, according to a Czech National Bank paper, published on Tuesday.

Roman Horváth and Jakub Matějů, the paper's authors, use official data from 19 inflation targeting central banks and survey data collected from central banks and government publications to better understand how inflation targets are set and whether targets
