Ireland’s Honohan says bank and government partnership key
Patrick Honohan, the governor of the Central Bank & Financial Services Authority of Ireland, on 11 May discussed the role of the banking systems and state in promoting fully functioning credit markets to small businesses.
In an address to the Small Firms Association in Dublin, Honohan said understanding and managing the elements of this interdependence was key to improving the situation with regard to the cost and availability of credit.
