Reserve Bank of New Zealand Bulletin, March 2002

REPORT - The Reserve Bank has released the March 2002 issue of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Bulletin, 5 April.

The March issue contains articles on a wide variety of topics, reflecting the breadth of the Reserve Bank's responsibilities.

One of the articles discusses the "Taylor rule" - a formula devised by a United States economist to identify the level of short term interest rates required to achieve or maintain a particular inflation target. The article explains the Taylor rule, including
