The Task Force on Portfolio Investment Collection Systems (TF-PICS) was set up by the Working Group on Balance of Payments and External Reserves Statistics (WG-BP&ER) to investigate the need for and the characteristics of harmonised systems for the collection of data on portfolio investment for the balance of payments (b.o.p.) and the international investment position (i.i.p.)
