What moves the yield curve?
The monetary policy response to the inflation gap impacts the yield curve, says a new research form the Kansas City Federal Reserve.
The research finds that the policy response to the difference between expected inflation and the inflation target of the central bank is the key channel transmitting macro shocks to the yield curve.
