Interbank borrowing reduces bank risk

Long-term interbank exposures result in lower risk for the borrowing banks, research published by the Centre for Economic Policy and Research finds.

The research analyses data from a large sample of Central and Eastern European financial institutions to see whether long-term interbank exposure reduce risk in small banks.
