Open Society: Reforming Global Capitalism - Soros

To some, he is a financial genius. To others, he will be remembered forever as the man who broke the Bank of England in 1992. To Mahathir Mohamad, the Malaysian Prime Minister, he is a "rogue speculator", a "moron" who helped to precipitate the Asian crisis. But George Soros would rather be known as a philosopher and a philanthropist, a campaigner for a reformed capitalist system he likes to call "open society".

Although the markets remain obsessed with his investment strategies, Soros says
