Fed watching moves into the realm of cyberspace

FEATURE - The Federal Reserve, set up by Congress in 1913 to provide the nation with a safer, more flexible and more stable monetary and financial system, is a quint essentially US institution - forthright, functional and for the most part, effective.

In keeping with this culture, the Fed's website (www.federalreserve.gov) is a model of clarity and ease of use as well as being a rich vein of information about the US banking, monetary and financial systems.
