Complexity will not cut banks' risk
Sir, Avinash Persaud ("Banks put themselves at risk in Basle", October 17) raises issues to do with capital adequacy reform that echo the concerns of many of us in the industry. He particularly addresses the subject of complexity and I would support his arguments by asking the regulators what value is added by this complexity?
