Interview with Iraq's central bank governor

In an interview on Friday 10 October Iraq's central bank governor Sinan al-Shibibi said that donors should not be deterred from giving money by differences between the US and World Bank on how much aid Iraq can put to good use. "Iraq does not want to compete with other countries in the world for assistance. We don't want anything beyond our needs, but this question of absorptive capacity has to be decided."
