Interview with SWIFT's Campos

In this recent interview with The Asian Banker, Lazaro Campos, head of the banking industry division at SWIFT says that SWIFT will become part of the domestic securities world before it picks up in payments.

"Sovereignty is very important to [the Reserve Bank of India]," explains Campos, "and so is control and being seen to offer services to the entire population, not concentrating on the large players but covering all financial institutions. It's in their remit, so they are always very reluctant
