Turkish central bank staff numbers plateau
Annual report shows many years of growth in staff numbers came to an end in 2015
Staff numbers at the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) fell slightly for the first time since 2010, bringing to an end a period of growth in employment, according to the central bank's annual report for 2015, published on May 26.
Staffing peaked at 4,753 in 2014, falling to 4,746 in 2015. "Retirement, resignation, military service or death" saw 110 staff leave the central bank, while 99 were recruited and four returned from other positions.
Numbers grew significantly after 2010
