Norges Bank says rates could stay low for longer
Central bank warns lending standards to households are slipping
Norway's central bank, the Norges Bank, today kept its key policy rate unchanged at 1.5% and predicted it would remain in the range of 1-2% through September this year, meaning it will be "held lower longer than previously projected", according to governor Øystein Olsen.
Olsen added the key policy rate could remain "at about today's level to the end of 2015, followed by a gradual rise".
The central bank also said it has submitted its quarterly advice to the government on the countercyclical
