RBNZ unveils 2013-2016 ‘statement of intent'
The Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ) has submitted its annual Statement of Intent (SOI) to the New Zealand government, featuring 10 strategic policies for the period 2013-2016 that "aim to continue to strengthen the bank's performance, develop a more integrated approach to policy, and further improve infrastructure and reduce enterprise risk", according to governor Graeme Wheeler.
Among other initiatives, the RBNZ is establishing a new new macro-financial department and will undertake more
