Beige Book signals modest US growth

The Federal Reserve System's latest Beige Book summary of the US economy, published on April 11, describes US growth as "modest to moderate".

The report is published eight times a year, and the latest edition offers a district-by-district summary of US economic conditions for the time period comprising mid-February to late March 2012.
