Riksbank offers explanation for lending to IMF

The Riksbank today (February 20) released a document explaining the central bank's lending to the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

The Economic Commentary describes how the Riksbank's lending to the IMF works, and why it is important for the central bank to lend money to the IMF.

The document covers the Riksbank executive board's decision to promote a parliamentary decision that will entitle the Riksbank to temporarily increase the lending capacity of the IMF by up to Skr100 billion.
