BoE: stress tests tightened credit conditions

Lenders believe the outcome of the stress tests on European banks had temporarily restricted funding to borrowers over the past three months, the Bank of England's Credit Conditions Survey, published on Thursday, said.

The Bank of England's Credit Conditions Survey, conducted between 13 August and 3 September, collects data on lenders perceptions and forecasts for credit conditions in markets by asking questions on lending activity in the past three months and the coming three months.
