National Bank of Slovakia – Financial Stability Report (2009)
The National Bank of Slovakia's Financial Stability Report for 2009, published on Monday, said a fall in employment and low household incomes meant the recovery last year remained fragile.
The report said key factors affecting the future development of risk in banks, especially credit risk, would be the pace and sustainability of the economic recovery. The central bank said the downturn was quickly reflected in an escalation of risks - principally in credit - in the domestic banking sector
