BoE: UK consumer confidence continues to slump
The Bank of England's July 2010 Agents' summary of business conditions report, published on Wednesday, showed signs that consumer spending growth slowed through the second quarter of the year.
The report provides information on the state of business conditions in the UK, compiling the data from discussions with around 700 businesses. The Bank's Monetary Policy Committee uses the intelligence provided to assist its understanding and assessment of current economic conditions.
