The National Bank of Slovakia's May Monthly Bulletin, published on Tuesday, showed the economy recovered at a slightly faster pace in the first quarter of 2010 than the last quarter of 2009.

The central bank said the Slovakian economy continued to grow during much of the first quarter, with GDP expanding at an annualised rate of 0.6%, following a contraction of 2.1% in the last quarter of 2009.
