BoE unanimous on July decision

The minutes from the July meeting of the Bank of England's Monetary Policy Committee show members voted unanimously to keep bank rate at 0.5% and to maintain its purchase of assets at £125 billion ($205.8 billion).

The committee noted that it had not learned much from developments over the past month that would enable it to assess the effectiveness of the Asset Purchase Programme.

The committee noted that the underlying the monthly money numbers were volatile and that more reliable quarterly
