ECB glossary on payments, clearing and settlement
The European Central Bank has published a glossary of technical terms on payment, clearing and settlement systems in the EU.
The goal of the glossary is to ensure a consistent use of terms in all of the European System of Central Banks' (ESCB) publications.
The glossary was compiled by a committee within the ESCB and is available for public consultation until 1 January 2009.
