Fed's minutes for June meeting

The Federal Open Market Committee's predominant policy concern remained the risk that inflation would fail to moderate as expected, the minutes of the July meeting explained.

At the meeting the committee was unanimous in deciding to maintain interest rates at 5.25%. The cost of borrowing has been at this level since June 2006.
