Kilimci takes up role as deputy within Turkish central bank

Turkey: Erkan Kilimci has been promoted to the role of deputy governor at the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, the bank has confirmed.

Kilimci joined the bank in 2013 as executive director of the markets department. He was responsible for implementing monetary and foreign exchange policy and managing international foreign exchange reserves.

He began his career as an internal auditor, working for several banks and financial institutions in the fields of risk management and asset management
