Bank Indonesia will launch updated versions of its main payment systems next week, which it hopes will make it easier for member institutions to "manage priority transactions and liquidity".

The central bank is launching new variants of three payment platforms, including its real-time gross settlement (RTGS) system, on November 16 for the first time since introducing them more than a decade ago.
