Riksbank launches streamlined financial stability report

Report aims to send more focused message

Sveriges Riksbank today (May 28) unveiled a new design for its financial stability report, aiming to send readers a more focused message.

The new report has been trimmed down, with earlier chapters on financial markets, Swedish banks and Swedish banking groups' borrowers all axed. Instead the report will have a "clearer focus" on the most pressing current issues.

A spokesman for the Riksbank said the sections were cut to avoid repetition, as they were covered in part by the introductory chapter
