Bank of Portugal launches mobile app
App is available for smartphones and tablets in Portuguese and English
The Bank of Portugal yesterday launched its first application for mobile phones and tablets, joining a handful of central banks that have made the leap to mobile devices.
The app, available for free through Apple's App Store or Google Play, offers the functionalities that are most often used by the general public on the central bank's website, the institution said in a statement.
