Janet Yellen was pressed on the question of Federal Reserve independence and transparency today, in her second appearance before a congressional committee in as many days.

Appearing before the committee on financial services, the Fed chair faced accusations she was taking the "position of the White House" on the question of changes to the Dodd-Frank Act.
