Bank of Canada launches new household survey
The Bank of Canada has launched a new household survey to better capture inflation expectations in the country, deputy governor Agathe Côté revealed last night.
The central bank launched the quarterly survey – in the form of an online poll – in November, asking 1,000 consumers about their expectations and the uncertainty surrounding them.
The poll covered a range of topics, including labour market prospects and personal finances, but Côté is particularly interested in how it can help the central
