The Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (BCBS) yesterday issued its final standards for disclosure requirements under Basel III.
The rules aim to make it easier to compare banks' risk-weighted capital levels, even or perhaps especially where these are determined by internal modelling. A set of compulsory templates require banks to submit at least part of the information in the same format.
The reforms affect Pillar 3 of the Basel III framework, governing disclosure. Basel II also contained a
