Argentina central bank staff strike over pay
Worker action started on Monday and will last 72 hours
Up to 2,000 employees at the Central Bank of Argentina are on a 72-hour strike over workers' rights, with the principal demand they are compensated for the high-level of income tax they pay.
According to a statement published by the Banking Association, the union representing the workers, more than 80% of the central bank staff is on strike. The Central Bank of Argentina employs around 2,500 people.
