Brazil central bank gives banks time off for World Cup

Central bank grants special dispensation to banks during the tournament

The Central Bank of Brazil has given special dispensation to banks in the country to close an hour earlier on days when the Brazilian team is playing in this summer's World Cup, which will be held in Brazil.

The tournament, which Brazil has won a record five times, takes place between June 12 and July 13. The host nation will kick off the tournament on the opening day against Croatia in Sao Paulo. Brazil will then face Mexico on June 17 in Fortaleza, before rounding out the group phase with a
