ECB releases AQR framework

Danièle Nouy and Vítor Constâncio today revealed the framework for the European Central Bank's (ECB) forthcoming asset quality review (AQR), one of the three prongs of its comprehensive assessment.

The ECB has collected data from all 128 banks it is assessing and will complete the first stage of the AQR, selecting which portfolios to review, by the middle of February.
