Bank of England will recalibrate forward guidance next month

The Bank of England (BoE) will "update" its forward guidance on monetary policy when it releases its inflation report in February, governor Mark Carney announced today in a speech in Davos, Switzerland.

Addressing an event organised by the CBI, a UK business lobby group, Carney said that the "assessment of how to evolve guidance to changing circumstances will begin in our February Inflation Report".
