RBA issues new market infrastructure proposals


The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) on August 29 released a consultative document outlining proposed changes to existing regulation of clearing and settlement facilities in Australia.

The move comes as part of efforts to align the Australian regime with international principles set out by the Committee on Payment and Settlement Systems (CPSS) and International Organization of Securities Commissions (Iosco).
