Eurosytem and Mediterranean central bankers gather in Morocco
Representatives from Eurosystem and Mediterranean central banks today met for their seventh high-level seminar. The gathering took place in Casablanca, Morocco, and saw officials from the European Central Bank (ECB) and the 17 national central banks of the euro area – and central banks of Mediterranean countries come together.
Opening the seminar, Mario Draghi, president of the ECB, spoke of Europe's "determination" to further the economic and monetary union in the region. Abdellatif Jouahri
