Basel Committee reveals final rules on capital disclosure

The Basel Committee on Banking Supervision today (June 26) published the final version of its rules on disclosure of the composition of banks' capital in line with the provisions of Basel III, as well as a consultative document on principles for effective risk data aggregation and risk reporting.

The documents form part of the Committee's work towards providing a framework for reducing the financial stability risks posed by internationally active banks.
