Zeti stresses importance of training in improving bank governance

Zeti Akhtar Aziz, governor of the Bank Negara Malaysia, today (June 12) stressed the benefits of training for directors of financial institutions in achieving good governance and financial stability in a country. The Financial Institutions Directors' Education programme (FIDE), developed by the Bank Negara Malaysia and the Malaysian Deposit Insurance Corporation, works towards this goal, she said.
