PBoC hires banker as deputy governor


The People's Bank of China (PBoC) has announced that Pan Gongsheng, the executive director and executive vice-president of the Agricultural Bank of China, has been hired as a deputy governor at the central bank.

Pan had leading roles in two of the world's largest initial public offerings, one of which was the Agricultural Bank of China's $22 billion public offering in 2010. Prior to his work with the Agricultural Bank of China, Pan worked at the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China for 15
